According to what has been discussed in the Communication Forum of Indonesian Telematics Product Developer, then the flow of research and development should have the following elements:
a. Input from users of the product through the research process with a survey by questionnaire and literature studies.
b. Create a definition of the product to be developed is the initial process to identify and inventory the main functions, features and needs (requirements), other than products that will be developed and become the basis for the next process.
c. To review existing regulations and the possible need for regulation is required.
d. Assessing the need and availability of technology and resources.
e. Creating a product design is the process of product design, from high-level design to detailed design, which is based entirely on the specification requirements (requirements) that is defined in the definition stage.
f. Implement or implementation is the process of applying the results of the design process into the form of software, hardware or a combination of both. In the implementation process is done breakdown of systems, modules and subsystems up to the level eventually re-weave or merge modules into subsystems.
g. The process of integration and system testing is the process of combining subsystems into the system and to test and verify the system and also inter-operability tests is limited by the external environment in Test Laboratory facility. The end of this process is released prototypes.
h. Production preparation process is the process of preparing a prototype released for entry into the production process, namely the reproductive process released a prototype into a final product or products to sell.
